Place Naming in Fishermans Bend – add your voice to the map!
City of Melbourne is keen to hear local stories, memories and ideas to help shape future place naming in Fishermans Bend.
They are leading the development of a framework that will guide the selection of names for future streets and open spaces in the Lorimer Precinct and Fishermans Bend National Employment and Innovation Cluster (NEIC) and are looking for local input to ensure future place naming is meaningful and celebrates the area’s rich history and future aspirations.
There are lots of opportunities to share your input - an online community workshop, pop-up, interactive online map and survey.
In particular, City of Melbourne would like to meet with local community members and employees from local businesses in Fishermans Bend to hear their insights in an interactive workshop format. Please register to either our in-person or online workshop below:
