Precious Plastic Melbourne is part of a global movement to reframe waste as a resource.   Started in 2019 by Piers and Kayla Mossuto, they champion a future where everyone can actively participate in solving the plastic waste crisis.  They manufacture innovative micro-recycling machinery in their Mitcham factory, and offer onsite workshops to community and corporate groups enabling a network of micro-recyclers to make a profound impact at the local level.

As Innovators in Residence at the Fishermans Bend Circular Design Cluster Precious Plastic Melbourne will showcase their equipment and offer public-facing workshops. Participants will be invited to turn trash into treasure and create one-of-a-kind pieces such as mini-pot plants, pens, combs from everyday plastic waste.
