Fishermans Bend Digital Innovation Challenge Pitch Night Wrap-Up

What a night it was at the Fishermans Bend Digital Innovation Challenge Pitch Night! Three inspiring finalists took the stage to present their groundbreaking ideas, each with the potential to reshape our community's future. The finalists, Melbourne EcoSound Initiative by FutureLabs, Upsoil Collective by Zoe Wang, and Mia Mias Micro Materials Bank by Commune and Co / Cirque du Soil, showcased innovative solutions ranging from ecoacoustic sensors to street-side worm farming and micro-recycling hubs.

The event brought together industry leaders, community members, and government representatives, both in-person and online, to witness these bold ideas in action. Voting has now concluded and we’re waiting to hear which initiative will receive the $90,000 grant to be tested in Fishermans Bend in 2025. It’s an incredible opportunity for a project that will drive us towards a more regenerative future.

Voting has now closed. If you missed the event, you can enjoy the highlights below and watch the pitch videos online.
