Startup Factory is a place for like-minded people to come together and ideate solutions, develop prototypes and commercialise physical products and technologies.

Building on a decade of experience from their North Coburg site, Space Tank are working with FB IDEAs to develop the foundations for Startup Factory. This will be a new kind of incubator and ecosystem to support physical-product startups and innovation in Fishermans Bend. Phase 1 is about identifying interested parties and building a strategic community of stakeholders and refine the steps to make it a reality.

The vision is to address the gap in support for Victoria’s grassroots hardware startups and grow our entrepreneurial community and investment capability.

Leveraging the Venture Studio operating model, the Startup Factory will drive competitive advantage by de-risking the development of hardware startups. The Startup Factory will grow from incubator programs into a permanent flagship location in Fishermans Bend.
