International Quantum Game Jam - coming to Fishermans Bend

In partnership with Eigensystems and SAE University College, FB IDEAs are thrilled to be supporting an exciting collaboration to bring the Australian node of the 10th International Quantum Game Jam to Fishermans Bend on the 14th and 15th September 2024.

Created and convened by the International Game Developers Association in Finland, participants in this global event spend a weekend developing new games that utilise quantum computing technology. This year, participants will be invited to used the Quokka to develop their games - in person and online.

Developed by Eigensystems, the Quokka is a hybrid cloud and Personal 30- qubit Edge Quantum Computing (PEQC) platform designed specifically for quantum education and literacy.

Registrations to participate are now open!

Following the Quantum Game Jam, a number of Quokka devices and access to the Quokka platform will also be made available to Fishermans Bend partners on short-term loan.
